DESCRIPTION: Educational and outdoor programs for boys/girls and young men and women to build character, train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Camp staff opportunities, office operations - Guide and work with 1st through 8th grade boys and girls, and young adults, in helping to earn badges and in delivering the Scouting Program. Meet and work with business and community leaders, develop and supports marketing and public relation efforts, and work with District Executives. Assist in providing leadership to inner city youth around Scranton housing developments. FACULTY/STAFF OPPORTUNITIES: Work on District Committee in advancement, membership, finance, activities, camping, or training teams. TIME COMMITMENT: Flexible VOLUNTEER TRAINING/AGENCY ORIENTATION: Individual and group orientation in training available.
