Description
DESCRIPTION:  A non-profit health care agency to provide comfort
and support to terminally ill patients without regard to ability
to pay.  Hospice Saint John offers a complete range of services
for patients and their families, from medical and nursing support
to spiritual counseling and bereavement care.  We are as close as
a phone call away, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:  Office work: typing, filing, collating,
updating files, answering phones.  Patient respite - volunteers
will complete a 4-week training program.

FACULTY/STAFF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:  Attend workshops, attend
periodic meetings.

TIME COMMITMENT:  Any avaiable is most appreciated.

VOLUNTEER TRAINING/AGENCY ORIENTATION AVAILABLE?  4 week training
with a class and also availability for a one on one basis.
