We are an all volunteer greyhound group whose mission is to provide education to the public about retired racing greyhounds, their desirability as pets, the availability of these dogs for adoption, raise funds for this and the purpose of providing for the welfare of retired racing greyhounds by assisting in their placement in suitable homes and giving ongoing support to the greyhound and its new family. 100% non-profit group all volunteers that help in placing retired greyhound dogs in a forever home. Student Volunteer Opportunities: Assist with meet and greets at local pet supply stores in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. Opportunities also available for fundraising, public speaking, hosting events, fostering. Training: would need to research the breed, read one greyhound book ex.
