Description
NAMI PA Scranton is an organization for families, friends, mental
 health professionals and individuals with mental illness.  The
 purpose of the organization is to improve the lives and services
 to people with mental illness and to give support to their 
families.  Also to educate our members and the public about mental 
illness and to advocate for better services and more research for
 persons with mental illness.

Participate in the planning and implementation of annual awareness
events;  The Walk for Mental Health Awareness. and the Candlelight 
Vigil during Mental Health Awareness Week.  Also the planning
and implementation of various educational events held during the 
year.  Could also help with office tasks like filing and organizing
information.
