Welcome to Electric City Television, Scranton’s Community Access Public Education and Government Cable TV Station. ECTV will give the citizens of the City of Scranton & Lackawanna County a voice. Our staff will provide the equipment and training while you conceive and create the television programming for a wide variety of media from pod casts to streaming video. Once an individual or organization registers to be trained on our studio and remote field equipment, the studio will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to create programming for Channels 61 & 62. While we encourage people to submit their own pre-produced videos, individuals can walk in the door, and after some easy to follow directions create a multi-camera TV show, on a wide variety of subject matter. The ECTV team will also be creating weekly shows featuring all the music, drama, comedy, public affairs, happening in and around Scranton PA. If you're interested in the changes taking place in our world this will be your chance to make a difference CAMERA OPERATORS needed to film events and meetings at Scranton City Hall. Our programs are governmental and nongovernmental. The student camera operators will help provide the citizens of Scranton with an invaluable look into the workings of local goverment. No special skills needed. Will train 10 to 20 students with one on one training with the director or station manager.
