Description
DESCRIPTION:  North Penn Legal Services is a nonprofit organization providing civil legal aid to low-income residents of Northeastern Pennsylvania. We provide legal assistance so that people can know their rights and free legal representation in non-criminal matters such as eviction from housing, discrimination, family law, and consumer protection issues.  North Penn Legal Services strives to solve civil legal problems and empower vulnerable populations through professional legal representation, advocacy, and education. 

STUDENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:  NPLS always welcomes individuals who wish to volunteer their time and services in helping our client community obtain equal access to our justice system. We welcome attorneys, students and civic-minded individuals who wish to assist our attorneys and advocates representing clients before judicial and administrative bodies.  We have 10 offices throughout Northeast PA and are very flexible in work schedules, assigning you to a location that best fits your needs and subject area.
